Arts Hub Capital Campaign

Building a Home for Creative Community

The Arts Hub is launching a transformative Capital Campaign to secure the future of arts education and cultural connection in Boulder County. Our goal is to eliminate our facility mortgage, expand our spaces, and establish a lasting endowment that ensures access to the arts for generations to come.

Since opening our doors, the Arts Hub has become a creative home for thousands of students, families, and artists through theatre, visual arts, music, and dance. Now, as we continue to grow, we must invest in the infrastructure that supports this thriving community.

Campaign Priorities

Mortgage Retirement

Paying off our $2.5 million facility mortgage will free vital annual funds for programs, scholarships, and staff support.

Facility Expansion

Plans include additional classrooms and studios, outdoor performance areas, and improved accessibility and sustainability.

Endowment Program & Support

Establishing an endowment will guarantee long-term financial stability and continued investment in initiatives like the Arts for All Fund.

Our Vision

We believe in an inclusive and vibrant community where everyone—regardless of background or income—can experience the power of creativity. With your support, we can build a sustainable future for the Arts Hub, ensuring that creativity continues to flourish in Lafayette and beyond.

Ways To Give

Monthly or Quarterly Installments

Break up your gift into monthly or quarterly installments, or balance your gift with a monthly, recurring gift. Arts Hub can work with you to create a payment schedule conducive to your needs.

IRA Contribution Tax Benefits

For our patrons who are 70 ½ years young or above, you can make a difference with your donation AND save on taxes by making a gift directly from your IRA.

Now THAT’s a “2 for 1” deal! Your qualified charitable distribution (QCD) may satisfy all or part of the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA.

Matching Gifts

You can often double your donation!  Many companies will match employees’ philanthropic donations; this is a great way to increase the impact of your gift. Contact your HR department for more information. We are happy to help facilitate an employee-matching gift.

Donor Advised Funds

You may recommend contributions from your donor-advised fund (DAF) account to Arts Hub. Contact your sponsoring organization to ask about gifting guidelines.

Give Stocks or Securities

Gifts of stocks are tax-deductible to the full extent of the IRS.

Asset Transfer

Arts Hub accepts gifts of appreciated real estate such as a personal residence, vacation home, farm, commercial property, or undeveloped land. You could qualify for a significant tax deduction and potentially eliminate capital gains tax, as well as avoid ongoing costs like maintenance, property taxes, or insurance.

Legacy Gifts

Deferred gifts and bequests may not qualify for a tax deduction immediately, but can provide significant long-term tax and income benefits to you or your loved ones. Contact us to learn more!

Olivia Meikle

Donor Spotlight

Donor Spotlight: Why Olivia Meikle Is Supporting the Arts Hub’s Capital Campaign

As an adjunct professor at Naropa University and a longtime advocate for inclusive arts and education, Olivia Meikle understands the power of a creative community. Her connection to the Arts Hub spans years—first as a board member, then as a parent, and now as a proud supporter of our Capital Campaign.

  • Why She’s Giving to the Capital Campaign

For Olivia, supporting the Capital Campaign is about ensuring the Arts Hub can continue offering high-quality programs, a safe and welcoming environment, and greater access for all families. Her reasons for giving center on three core values: preserving a thriving community space, expanding access through scholarships and inclusive programming, and creating a place where every young person feels they belong.

As she shared, “My hope is that this amazing resource can be available to everybody—expanding access and the community we are able to serve.”

    A Beloved Community Space, Reborn

Olivia served on the Arts Hub Board for six years, including during the most difficult chapter in our history: the pandemic, when the organization nearly closed its doors. Now, seeing the Hub thriving again is part of why she gives.

“I’m so happy to see the Arts Hub alive, to see how it emerged from surviving COVID to thriving now is incredible.”

A Place Where Young People Feel Safe and Seen

Olivia has witnessed the impact of the Arts Hub firsthand through her child, Noah, who found safety, support, and belonging here and now teaches D&D clubs at the Hub.

“In high school, my own child needed a safe space and found that in the Arts Hub. It saved us in a way.”

She has seen many teens experience the same.

“I have seen this place be the only safe place for some teenagers because of their identities. Having a place where they know they are loved and accepted and appreciated for who they are can save lives.”

This is the heart of what the Capital Campaign protects: the programs and spaces that uplift, empower, and sometimes even save young lives.

    “Everyone belongs here.”

Olivia’s hope for her contribution is simple and powerful, to help the Arts Hub continue expanding its community and cultural footprint for generations to come.

“Everyone belongs here. Everyone’s stories are important to tell.”

Your support helps remove financial barriers, expand programming, and keep our facility strong for the future. Join Olivia in building a creative home where every young person has a place, a voice, and a chance to thrive.
