Alicia Sanchez Elementary

Arts 4 All Program

The Arts HUB is committed to creating equal opportunity and equal access to the arts in our community. We recognize that, historically, extra-curricular arts education has been inaccessible to non-white and economically disadvantaged populations. We strive to correct this historical injustice by offering free arts education programming with Alicia Sanchez Elementary School in Lafayette, a 75% Latino school with the highest free-and-reduced lunch percentage in the BVSD school district.

Our program includes scholarships for Alicia Sanchez students to attend Arts HUB classes for free, as well as free tickets to Arts HUB shows.

The Arts HUB is proud to partner with the City of Lafayette and Lafayette Communities That Care (CTC) to offer new dance programming for high-need families in our community.

Lafayette Communities That Care is committed to creating a healthy city with community involvement by:

  • Leveraging existing local expertise by including partner agencies

  • Empowering youth and community to generate data

  • Bolstering an active Community Board

  • Addressing the social context in which drug use occurs

  • Supporting positive youth development

Scholarships Program

Though we strive to make our programs as affordable as possible for as many children as possible, not all families are able to afford our program tuition.

Our Scholarship Fund allows us to offer discounted tuition to high-need families in Boulder County. Our scholarships have been used to support:

  • children below the poverty line

  • children impacted by the Marshall Fire of 2021

  • foster children
